Horses are kept mainly for work<br \/>\npuposes like pulling wagons, it is a cheep form of transport and can be seen<br \/>\nregularly pulling wagons full of goods, hay or farm supplies in our part of the<br \/>\nworld . The horses are hucul, they are small but very strong. A horses life is very<br \/>\nhard, there are many different \u201cpractices\u201d on how to pressure them into working<br \/>\neven when they don\u2019t want to cooperate with their owners.<br \/>\nSome of the horses we have at our small holding had hard life too. We gave them<br \/>\ncare and attention and fed them well and after a few months they got stronger<br \/>\nand stared to develop quickly. They receive much love from us, their trust in<br \/>\npeople has slowly developed. We use our horses for healing purposes, their<br \/>\nhealing power is very special, we felt the healing power ourselves. Three years<br \/>\nago when we received our first horse we were really down and finding life tough.<br \/>\nThings improved and looking back through the years we know this was the best<br \/>\npresent from God to make us healthy and happy again. In the beginning it was<br \/>\nreally hard as we didn\u2019t know anything about these wonderful animals. There were<br \/>\nno qualified people who could help us in our town. The only advise we heard was,<br \/>\n\u201cDon\u2019t stand behind the horse!\u201d \u263a<br \/>\n<strong>Our horses<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szelid.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-210 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szelid.jpg\" alt=\"Szelid\" width=\"94\" height=\"141\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szelid.jpg 683w, https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szelid-120x180.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 94px) 100vw, 94px\" \/><\/a><strong>Selid<\/strong> &#8211; is a very clever horse, she can free herself from everywhere as if by<br \/>\nmagic. It is a serious problem and we have to watch her carefully. She can untie<br \/>\nrope knots and has even unlocked the padlock when the key was left in it. She is<br \/>\nbeautiful and friendly and loves being with the other horses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mok\u00e1ny<\/strong> &#8211; is an 18 year old pony. He is a very patient member of our team. He is<br \/>\na horse that can jump fences. Anna, our daughter has jumped a huge barrier with<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0134.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-215 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0134.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0134\" width=\"102\" height=\"121\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0134.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_0134-152x180.jpg 152w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 102px) 100vw, 102px\" \/><\/a><\/strong>him, so my teacher in Hungary decided to give her the horse as a present.<br \/>\nChildren love to ride him, he is gentle but can run very fast with his little legs.<br \/>\nChildren must have a good feeling of rythm riding him. He is small and smart.<br \/>\nMoki &#8211; is a wonderful, handy, lovely horse and I love him very-very much!\u201d \u2013 he<br \/>\nwas bought as a present for our daughter Ester who is five years old.<br \/>\n<strong>Lenke<\/strong> &#8211; I saw Lenke for the first time watching me as she was grazing at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lenke.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-2\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-209 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lenke.jpg\" alt=\"Lenke\" width=\"86\" height=\"129\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lenke.jpg 683w, https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lenke-120x180.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 86px) 100vw, 86px\" \/><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0ride\u00a0of the street, she had sorrow in her eyes. I didnt realise then that she would<br \/>\nbecome one of our horses. When we first got her she was afraid of us and didn\u2019t<br \/>\nlike being touched. It has taken a lot of work to gain her confidence. She is calm<br \/>\nand very slow and is the oldest in our herd. These days Lenke comes to us herself<br \/>\nand asks for some caresses. She enjoys it so much!<br \/>\nStand by us Foundation<br \/>\n<strong>Szikra<\/strong> &#8211; is the youngest of our horses. She is very graceful, delicate motion and a<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szikra.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-3\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-211 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szikra.jpg\" alt=\"Szikra\" width=\"85\" height=\"108\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szikra.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Szikra-142x180.jpg 142w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 85px) 100vw, 85px\" \/><\/a><\/strong>comfortable canter. She has trained verywell since being with us. She is a very<br \/>\ncurious and, friendly horse. Sikra gave birth to a foal on our farm in March 2015,<br \/>\nwe named her Kira, the father is Bandi, a beautiful stallion, I think he conquered<br \/>\nSikra (Spark) with his long mane.<br \/>\n<strong>Kira<\/strong> &#8211; is a real fun maker. Always running here and there, she is very curious<br \/>\nabout everything. She likes to annoy the older mares, they are really patient with<br \/>\nher as she is still a foal&#8230; \u263a<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Azs\u00far.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-8\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-208 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Azs\u00far.jpg\" alt=\"Azs\u00far\" width=\"107\" height=\"122\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Azs\u00far.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.standbyus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Azs\u00far-158x180.jpg 158w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 107px) 100vw, 107px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><strong>Azhur<\/strong> &#8211; has travelled a long jouney from Poltava before he arrived to live with us. He is a<br \/>\n10 year old Orlov Trotter and is very fast and can jump really high.
